Go Fujita's Azumaen is a unique Japanese restaurant located on the shore of a lake in Nagasaki, Japan, drawing inspiration from the migratory birds that visit the area, providing a serene and harmonious dining experience.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Located in a national park, Azumaen offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience, with private booths shaped like mandarin ducks, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of birds resting on the water. The use of indirect lighting further enhances the ambiance, evoking the feeling of floating in a pond.
The restaurant's design features bent structural plywood booths finished with glossy cloth, and a lighting plan that transitions from day to night, creating a dynamic and immersive environment.
Spanning 2700 square meters, Azumaen overcame challenges related to material and color restrictions, as well as the construction of unique, spiraling booths, to bring Go Fujita's vision to life.
