T Haven Apartment: Award-Winning Minimalist Design Featuring Floating Staircase and Artful Living Spaces

T Haven, designed by Adrian Hung of WonderWonder Limited, has garnered international acclaim by securing the Silver A' Design Award in the 2025 A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. Completed in September 2024 in Hong Kong, this 4,900-square-foot residence exemplifies a modern approach to apartment living, where clean lines, open spaces, and a neutral palette converge to create a tranquil yet sophisticated environment. The project's centerpiece-a floating staircase crafted from curved wooden panels and anchored by a sleek dark metal stringer-serves as both a functional element and a sculptural focal point, seamlessly integrating art and architecture.

The apartment's layout is thoughtfully organized to enhance both communal and private experiences. The entrance, located on the middle floor, acts as a central hub, connecting the gym and living room for easy access. Downstairs, visitors are welcomed into a vibrant area featuring a kitchen, dining room, play area, and tearoom, designed for social gatherings and relaxation. Upstairs, the owner's private quarters offer a serene retreat, ensuring privacy and tranquility. Throughout the home, carefully curated lighting, bespoke furniture, and harmonious material finishes contribute to a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.

Inspired by the desire to blend nature with modernity, the design incorporates elements such as a bonsai tree in the entrance foyer, symbolizing balance and harmony. Extensive research guided the integration of traditional and contemporary motifs, resulting in a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Overcoming challenges in spatial flow and natural element integration, the design team succeeded in creating a home that not only meets the needs of a modern family but also elevates everyday living through artistry and innovation. The Silver A' Design Award recognizes T Haven's outstanding expertise, technical excellence, and its ability to evoke wonder and amazement.
