FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Award-Winning Shine Biomedical Office Blends Scandinavian Minimalism, Natural Elements, and Employee-Centric Design

The Shine Biomedical office, designed by KUN-SEN CHANG and completed in July 2024 in Taiwan, has garnered the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. This recognition celebrates the project's unique approach to workspace design, which harmoniously fuses Scandinavian-inspired minimalism with a focus on employee comfort and innovation. The 545.4-square-meter office is tailored for a leading biomedical brand, reflecting its values of vitality, professionalism, and forward-thinking spirit.

Drawing inspiration from naturalistic and minimalist Scandinavian aesthetics, the design emphasizes openness, light, and connectivity. Extensive use of glass partitions and frosted films ensures both transparency and privacy, while large green walls and pastel-toned furniture bring warmth and vibrancy to the environment. The open-top ceiling structure and woven carpets add depth and texture, creating a grand yet inviting atmosphere. Integrated lighting and carefully selected eco-friendly materials, such as wood veneer and woven carpets, further enhance the workspace's modern and sustainable character.

The office layout is thoughtfully organized to support collaboration and well-being. The reception area welcomes guests with semi-low sofas and a striking brand image wall, while the adjacent meeting rooms and lounge areas foster interaction and relaxation. The workspace benefits from abundant natural light, and sliding glass doors provide flexibility between open and private zones. Overcoming the challenge of a complex, lightning-shaped layout, the design strategically places brand elements and multifunctional spaces at key turning points, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for both employees and visitors. The result is a workspace that not only meets the practical needs of a modern enterprise but also nurtures creativity, teamwork, and a sense of belonging.
