FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wei-Li Chen's "Low Key Luxury" project, completed in March 2023 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, has been recognized with the Bronze A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award for 2025. Tasked with renovating a spacious 165.2-square-meter apartment, Chen's vision was to craft a tranquil sanctuary for a family in the financial sector, offering a calming escape from the demands of daily life. The design emphasizes a seamless integration of indoor and outdoor elements, using sleek lines and natural views to create a warm, inviting atmosphere tailored to the owner's needs.
Distinctive features set "Low Key Luxury" apart, beginning with a long foyer that acts as a sophisticated buffer zone, highlighted by a marble wall with titanium-plated edges. The open-plan living and dining areas are defined by layered grilles, wood flooring, and ambient lighting, establishing a modern yet relaxed ambiance. Each private space is thoughtfully designed: the boy's room combines gray and wood, the master bedroom offers warmth and a dedicated study, and the girl's room balances neutrality with feminine touches and a scenic en-suite bath. Throughout, titanium-plated accents and a consistent warm color palette evoke understated elegance.
The project's realization involved a careful selection of materials-marble, wood veneer, special paints, glass, and titanium-plated metal-chosen for both their aesthetic and tactile qualities. The design not only meets Feng Shui requirements but also maximizes comfort and natural light through wide openings and strategic spatial planning. By focusing on client collaboration and meticulous attention to detail, Wei-Li Chen has created more than just a residence; "Low Key Luxury" is a testament to the power of thoughtful design to elevate daily living, earning acclaim for its blend of luxury, humanity, and modern sensibility.
