Strickland's Luxury Hotel Restaurant Design in Nikko City
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Strickland, a renowned design firm, has unveiled its latest project, The Japanese Restaurant, at The Ritz-Carlton Nikko in Nikko City, Japan. The restaurant, completed in July 2020, offers a unique blend of traditional Japanese design elements and modern luxury, overlooking Mt. Nantai on the shores of Lake Chuzenji.
The 401-square meter restaurant features a main dining area, Teppanyaki room, Sushi room, private dining room, and terrace seating area, providing guests with an immersive dining experience. The design draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese residence composition and the nature of Nikko, incorporating elements such as aluminum die-cast lattice, yellow Juraku wall, and red carving panels inspired by the local craftsmanship.
Recognized for its exceptional design, The Japanese Restaurant received the Silver A' Design Award in 2021, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in interior space, retail, and exhibition design. Strickland's founder, Yohei Akao, brings extensive experience and a holistic design approach to hospitality projects, promising tailor-made and iconic entertaining spaces.
