Cloud Landmark Sales Office: Celebrating Cross-Cultural Elegance and Efficient Design in Hangzhou

Cloud Landmark, designed by Jian Zhang and completed in May 2024 in Hangzhou, China, has been recognized with the coveted Golden A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. The project stands out for its unique approach, drawing inspiration from the refined aesthetics shared by Hangzhou and Paris. The 600-square-meter sales office features a dramatic 16-column skylit atrium, a classical Eight Immortals table, and a striking white camellia sculpture as its centerpiece. These elements, combined with dynamic shadow play and elegant use of common materials, create a sophisticated yet accessible environment for visitors.

The design team faced the challenge of delivering high-impact results within a tight 28-day timeline, balancing cost-effectiveness with visual appeal. By utilizing readily available materials such as marble, wood veneers, and stone-textured paint, the project achieved a harmonious blend of luxury and practicality. The strategic use of natural light through the skylight and the addition of a ceiling grille casting moving shadows on the dark green marble floor further enhance the space's ambiance, reflecting both cultural heritage and modern sensibilities.

Cloud Landmark's success lies in its ability to embody the elegance and refinement of two iconic cities while maintaining simplicity and efficiency. The project's thoughtful integration of cultural motifs, minimalistic decor, and innovative construction management demonstrates the team's expertise and commitment to excellence.
