Healthcare Space Redefined: Miguel Barbas' Award-Winning Dental Clinic Design

Miguel Barbas, in collaboration with Pedro Unas and YR Branding, has redefined the healthcare space with his award-winning design for a dental clinic in Lisbon. The clinic, developed on a single floor, features a skylight that floods the central area with natural light, creating a calm and interactive reception. The innovative design aims to reduce patient stress and enhance the overall experience.

The clinic's layout includes a spacious waiting room, meeting room, administrative offices, dental offices, sterilization room, orthopantomography room, and other support spaces. The separation of routes for the clinic and offices ensures a smooth and efficient operation. The use of glass in the facade and interior areas maximizes natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting.

Barbas' design not only prioritizes functionality but also focuses on creating a welcoming and serene atmosphere. The project, which commenced in August 2018 and concluded at the end of 2019, has been recognized with the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category. This prestigious accolade celebrates the design's innovative approach and its contribution to enhancing the quality of life for patients and staff alike.
