Spring Breeze: A Fusion of Traditional Chinese Architecture and Modern Office Space

Qingtao Ji, along with the design team, has successfully transformed a single-family steel-structured building in Kunming, China, into a stunning Chinese-style integrated office space, named "Spring Breeze." The design draws inspiration from the hanging houses in southwest China, integrating ancient wooden structures with modern architectural techniques to create a visually striking and functional environment.

The interior hanging house, meticulously crafted with traditional techniques, forms the centerpiece of the design, creating a unique visual contrast with the modern steel structure. The project, completed in December 2019, spans an indoor area of 1000 square meters and features a double-wall design to control interior sunlight, offering a comfortable and visually captivating workspace.

Qingtao Ji's innovative approach to blending traditional Chinese architectural elements with modern office functionality has earned "Spring Breeze" the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2021, showcasing the designer's prodigy and wisdom in creating trendsetting and impactful designs.
