Discover the Illusion of Taste at the Hyper Realist Salvador Dali Inspired Cafe
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Step into the enchanting world of Knot Knot, a Japanese-western dessert and cake cafe located at Parc Central of Guangzhou. Inspired by the Hyper Realist Salvador Dali, the cafe's surreal interior space is a masterpiece of artistry and functionality. Vincent Chi-Wai Chiang, along with the design team, has transformed this 1400 sq ft area into a romantic and elegant haven, offering a unique dining experience.
The cafe's design features Italian turquoise handmade tiles, dark walnut doorframes, and a marble bar, creating a seamless blend of Japanese and Western influences. The space is adorned with artistic paintings, woodcarvings, and Roman columns, evoking the essence of the Renaissance. The magic mirror, a central element, creates an illusionary effect, captivating customers and providing numerous Instagram-worthy photo opportunities.
Chiang's vision for Knot Knot extends beyond aesthetics. The cafe's design seamlessly integrates the production and dining areas, allowing customers to witness the final touches on their desserts. The use of arch windows, chandeliers, and mirrors transforms the space into an immersive art gallery, offering a surreal and captivating experience for visitors.
The project, which commenced in October 2019 and concluded in December 2019, is a testament to Chiang's dedication to creating spaces that balance beauty, function, and cost. Knot Knot has been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in 2020, celebrating its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authentically embodies experience and resourcefulness.
