Yuchi Zhang's design for Xie Yan restaurant is a visual and spatial masterpiece, with the layout resembling a crab, complete with a raised platform representing the shell and a robatayaki bar cleverly embedded within. The use of hexagonal tiles at the entrance and carefully placed seating areas further accentuates the crab-inspired theme.

What sets Xie Yan apart is its unique visual effect and spatial style, perfectly capturing the essence of Japanese crab cuisine while expressing the business philosophy and value of the restaurant's brand. The use of novel design ideas, profound aesthetic skills, and unique material selection creates a dining experience that goes beyond traditional restaurant design.
