Interactive Steel Organ Installation "Sounds of Welser"

Welser Profile, a global provider of steel profiles, has unveiled the "Sounds of Welser" interactive installation, designed by Responsive Spaces. The installation, resembling an organ, is a technical marvel with capacitive sensors and a dynamic sound engine that creates ever-changing soundscapes.

The installation allows visitors to touch real steel profiles, triggering a unique and engaging sonic experience. The technology is seamlessly integrated, allowing for an immersive tactile and sonic encounter with the steel profiles.

Developed using advanced production technology and carefully selected materials, the installation features capacitive sensors for each steel profile, triggered by touch through the change of its resistance. The profiles, insulated by a wooden base, produce 9 tones and two different octaves on each side, resulting in a constantly changing soundscape.
