FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Yuannan Xu's landscape design for the La Chapelle Headquarter in Shanghai has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award for Landscape Planning and Garden Design. The project, which took one and a half years to complete, covers an area of 41860 square meters on South Lianhua Road in Shanghai.
The project faced significant challenges due to the building's layout, elevation differences, and the owner's high requirements for plant varieties and specifications. The design team overcame these obstacles through extensive research and spatial analysis, ultimately achieving an elegant and beautiful balance between the building and landscape.
The design team, including Tianqing Ouyang, Xiaojian Liu, Yin Li, Yan Zhao, Qianlong He, Wangjian Xie, Haoran Weng, Jie Kong, spent three months incorporating the 'sakura' element into the overall design, fusing specific trees preferred by the clients and local culture.
Yuannan Xu, originally from Shanghai, China, led the design team in creating a unique and visually stunning landscape that perfectly complements the La Chapelle Headquarter. The project's exceptional creativity, technical characteristics, and artistic skill were acknowledged by the A' Design Award, highlighting its outstanding expertise and innovation.
