FENG CHENG Unveils the Stunning Sales Center Inspired by Traditional Chinese Building Techniques
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
FENG CHENG, a renowned architect from Shanghai, has unveiled the Hongzhou Academy, a sales center in Nanchang County that beautifully blends modern functionality with traditional Chinese architectural elements. The project, which commenced in August 2020 and was completed in December 2020, showcases a unique blend of ancient design techniques and modern materials.
The Hongzhou Academy stands out with its unique brick texture on the facade, created by connecting aluminum plates with buckles. The building's smooth arc-shaped curved surface pays homage to the eaves curve of ancient Chinese buildings, adding a touch of historical grandeur to the modern structure.
Covering a land area of 2375m² and a floor area of 1221m², the sales center serves as a multi-functional space, catering to negotiation, handwork, children's activities, and displays. The building's strategic location at an intersection has influenced its design, with two typical blocks facing the urban road, shaping the structure and forming an impressive entrance square.
The use of metallic aluminum sheets, glass, and coating materials in the construction highlights the fusion of traditional cultural elements with contemporary building techniques. The high atrium and expansive glass windows offer a comfortable and visually engaging environment, making the space ideal for both commercial activities and relaxation.
FENG CHENG's meticulous attention to detail and innovative design approach has earned the Hongzhou Academy the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Architecture, Building, and Structure Design category in 2022. This accolade recognizes the project's exceptional creativity, technical prowess, and remarkable aesthetic appeal.
