Dagmara Berent's Small City Home Garden is a 120m2 tranquil oasis, designed to extend the interior living space and divert attention from the city's hustle and bustle to nature.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dagmara Berent's Small City Home Garden draws inspiration from the small city gardens of Great Britain, creating individual areas and a peaceful oasis for relaxation. The project aimed to extend the interior of the house and create more living space, providing a tranquil escape from the urban environment. The garden features geometric lines, a pond with a collection of koi fish, and smart home technology to control garden features such as lighting, pond, fountain, and gazebo sounds.
The garden, completed in 2018, is a tiny space with an area of 120m2, featuring paths and stairs finished with granite slabs, composite board paths and terraces, and colorful flowers. The design overcame challenges such as obstructing the view of nearby buildings and limited access during construction. The garden changes throughout the year, attracting butterflies and other insects, and was featured in the garden program "Maja in the Garden" and major newspapers about gardens and home interiors.
Dagmara Berent, the author of the project, is from Torun, Poland, and is the founder of the Aurea Garden company, specializing in home and public space garden designs. The company's practical knowledge and experience allow them to support even the most non-standard orders, creating perfectly harmonized garden compositions that suit the owners. Berent's unique and original creations have won many awards and have been featured on TV shows multiple times.
