Award-Winning Designer Dagmara Berent Unveils Simple Chic Garden Oasis

Dagmara Berent, the creative force behind Aurea Garden, has unveiled the stunning Simple Chic garden oasis, a meticulously designed urban retreat located in the heart of Torun, Poland. The project, which was conceived in 2021 and completed in 2022, offers a seamless blend of sleek minimalism and functional design, redefining urban living with its unique features and innovative technology.

The 889.2 sqm garden, strategically designed to shield the area from city noise and activity, features distinct geometric shapes and an organized layout that extends the living space for relaxation. Blurring indoor and outdoor boundaries, the garden harmoniously combines refined aesthetics with practical utility, offering a serene escape within the urban landscape.

The project's realization involved the use of multi-tiered aluminum pots, aluminum pergolas, massive concrete slabs, and innovative technology such as automated irrigation and smart home-controlled lighting. Additionally, the garden boasts sustainable features, including efficient photovoltaic panels for heating the pool water.

Modern pathways seamlessly link the garden and house, while bold geometry, innovative materials, and striking forms define this dynamic area, creating a cohesive, contemporary space that encourages outdoor moments and relaxation. The garden's implementation commenced in 2022, reaching completion within the same year, and has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2024.
