Li-Yu Cheng's Cha-Mi Clinic Redefines Traditional Chinese Medicine in Taipei
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Li-Yu Cheng's Cha-Mi Chinese Medicine clinic, located in the bustling Songshan district of Taipei, is a modern interpretation of traditional Chinese medical facilities. Situated on the third floor of a building, the clinic offers patients a higher level of privacy within its 495 square meter space.
Designed with a focus on natural light and a minimalist aesthetic, the clinic features consulting rooms, a dispensary, VIP therapy rooms, and laboratories. The use of clean white backdrops and oak woodwork creates a calming ambiance, while the concentric layout ensures easy navigation for patients.
Construction of the clinic began in November 2019 and was completed in June 2020, with a strong emphasis on integrating intelligent automation systems to streamline the consulting process and comply with upcoming tech-life trends.
Li-Yu Cheng, an architect and lecturer at Chung Yuan Christian University, founded StudioX4 in Taipei, where the team is dedicated to contemporary spatial design and urban languages. The clinic's design has been recognized with a Bronze A' Design Award in 2021, showcasing its outstanding and creatively ingenious approach to modernizing traditional Chinese medicine.
