Private Club House Designed by Kris Lin

Kris Lin's Royal One private club house, designed to balance personal indulgence with social interaction, wins the prestigious Platinum A' Design Award in 2024. The project, located in a SPA center, wellness center, traditional Chinese medicine therapy center, health center, spans four floors above ground and one below, featuring a wine cellar, restaurant, underground barbecue room, billiards room, audio-visual entertainment room, and bedrooms among other functional spaces. The design integrates natural elements, such as water droplet art installations, to symbolize the flow of life and bring vitality to the space. The circular design elements symbolize harmony, embodying the Unity of Heaven and Human principle and connecting design with emotions. The initiative redefines the role of private clubs and explores spatial aesthetics and humanistic philosophy.

In the dining area, aluminum panels are used to create an effect of overlapping circles of various sizes, enhancing the spatial visual experience. Sustainable and high-quality building materials, such as natural stone and custom woodworking, have been carefully selected to ensure the durability and aesthetic appeal of the space. The water droplet art installation, approximately 2500 millimeters in height, is suspended above the center of the circular hall at a height of 5000 millimeters. It's crafted from highly reflective materials with built-in LED lighting, creating dynamic effects through light refraction.

Enter a club with a circular hall that seamlessly connects spaces like the living room and wine cellar, encouraging exploration and movement. Centered in the hall, a water droplet-inspired artwork changes with the light, adding dynamic beauty and energy. This environment is perfect for enjoying wines, barbecues, or conversations, blending privacy and social interaction for diverse enjoyment.
