Bathing Summer Day: Residential House Design

Chung Yi Chun's Bathing Summer Day project is a heartwarming residential house that seamlessly integrates different functional areas to create a warm and dynamic living space. The spacious living room and semi-open aluminum-framed glass study room maintain wide and bright visual effects, offering a relaxing atmosphere for the family.

The children’s bedroom is adorned with sweet and tender colors, exquisite wall decorations, and small potted plants, creating a vibrant and lively space. The wardrobe handles, shaped like round buttons, add a playful touch to the room, reflecting the heartwarming life of the family of five in detail.

The design incorporates special paint, laminate flooring, hole board, magnetic blackboard, and grille, showcasing a blend of creativity and functionality. The porch features a gray mirror that enlarges the narrow corridor, integrating storage space with the TV wall, while the transparent glass compartment of the study room serves as a focal point of vision.

The long, big island in the house serves as a practical desk for children to do homework and can also accommodate relatives and friends, promoting family interaction and functionality. The warm wood color system and moderate stone embellishment, along with the comfortable water grey color of the TV wall, create a refreshing atmosphere, offering a panoramic view of the open interior space.

Chung Yi Chun's design philosophy focuses on creating a future with homeowners by patiently listening to their needs and innovatively using building materials to craft aesthetically pleasing and practical living spaces. His commitment to innovation and practicality has earned him the Iron A' Design Award in 2021 for the Bathing Summer Day project.
