immerse Design Studio's Slope Extension

immerse Design Studio, led by Chia Hao Tung, has redefined residential space with the innovative "Slope Extension" project. Completed in June 2022 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, this design transforms a 59 square meters residence into an open and flexible layout, balancing functionality and aesthetics.

The project's unique features include sloped surfaces, diagonal lines, and beveled corners, creating a spacious and visually engaging environment. The clean white TV wall, wrapped structural columns, and deliberate integration of a wall lamp add warmth and flexibility to the living space.

Utilizing wood, laminate, mineral paint, calcium silicate board, brushed metal, laminate flooring, and corrugated glass, immerse Design Studio has crafted a space that offers a multi-functional area, semi-open study room, and two bathrooms alongside the living, dining, kitchen, and bedroom areas.

The project's technical prowess is recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in 2024, highlighting its practicality, innovation, and fulfillment of professional and industrial requirements. The design seamlessly integrates industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world.
