The Grand Canal: A Poetic Real Estate Sales Center

YHDQ Design's The Grand Canal project, a real estate sales center located in Yangzhou, China, has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2022. The project, situated in the oldest section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, seamlessly blends ancient and modern Oriental aesthetics, capturing the history and culture of Yangzhou. The 1462 square meter space is a testament to the city's unique temperament, infused with elegance and poetry.

The combination of ancient and modern Oriental aesthetics, which not only carries the history but also accepts the modern elegant taste, makes this project a success. Yangzhou, known for its cultural richness, has been the source of inspiration for the project, with its unique temperament reflected in every detail. The use of glass, wood, and cloth, along with specially-made artwork, creates an art space that resonates with the local culture.

Professional glaze artisans have meticulously crafted 2500 glaze flower pieces, symbolizing Yangzhou's 2500 years of prosperity, infusing the space with poetry and art. The project, realized between December 2020 and April 2021, stands as a testament to the city's rich history and cultural heritage, concentrated in poems and restored in special works of art.
