Office Design Project "Redefine" by Mark Han

Mark Han, vice president of design at GIA Design, has unveiled the "Redefine" office design project, blending tradition and modernity in Taipei City. The office space, inspired by traditional Chinese temples, features a serene and unobtrusive ambiance with a touch of modernity.

The project, awarded Bronze in A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2024, showcases a unique blend of straight lines and curved shapes, creating a collision of tradition and modernity. The use of white as the base color, along with elements resembling the blue sky and white clouds, echoes with the golden elements of the Buddha statues in traditional Chinese temples, offering a comfortable and calm atmosphere.

Utilizing different angles of the wall and lighting, the consultation room creates a quiet yet solemn atmosphere for users. The shape of the TV wall extends to the ceiling, creating a visually spacious environment. The wall covering incorporates elements of landscape paintings, contrasting with colorful desks and furniture, ensuring the office remains vibrant and engaging.

Mark Han's "Redefine" project is a testament to the seamless integration of tradition and modernity, redefining the atmosphere of the traditional industry while interpreting its spirit and goals. The office design project was completed in March 2022 in Taipei City, Taiwan.
