HONG KONG (CHINA) -- /ARCHITECTURE/newswire -- Aug 25, 2020

Introducing the First Villeroy & Boch Home Services Shop in China

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

VB Home: Redefining Shop Design with European Lifestyle and Villeroy & Boch Products

Martin Chow, a renowned designer, has unveiled the first Villeroy & Boch Home Services shop in China, introducing a fresh concept in shop design. The shop, spanning 1000 square meters, is located in a renovated area in Shanghai, China, and is a testament to the fusion of European lifestyle and Villeroy & Boch products.

The "Home sweet home" theme permeates the interiors, creating a welcoming ambiance that resonates with the brand's ethos. The shop features an open kitchen, dining, and living areas adorned with VB products, offering customers a relaxed environment to explore and select products.

Utilizing wall paper, paint finish, tiles, and stone, the design realizes the vision of a homey atmosphere, transforming the former factory space into a haven for Villeroy & Boch enthusiasts. The project, which commenced in April 2020 and concluded in October 2020, posed challenges due to budget constraints, but the result is a testament to Chow's ability to elevate the brand's offerings within a limited framework.

Martin Chow, the visionary behind this project, holds a BA (Hons) in Interior Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an MA in Landscape & Urbanism from Kingston University, UK. With a track record of award-winning projects, his expertise has been instrumental in bringing the VB Home concept to life.
