LUSTYdesign's CEO, SHUNSUKE OHE, Reveals Groundbreaking Design for Daihatsu

LUSTYdesign's CEO, SHUNSUKE OHE, has unveiled an innovative design for Daihatsu, a futuristic auto repair shop and showroom located in Nishi-ku, Osaka. The building's exterior is characterized by gentle curves and a spaceship-like design, creating a dynamic and futuristic appearance. The interior features a minimal color palette, with white as the base color and brown and gray accents, allowing the brand's red and white logo to stand out.

What sets Daihatsu apart is its dual functionality as both a car maintenance shop and a car showroom. The maintenance shop boasts open spaces and unique lighting designs, while the showroom is predominantly made of glass, providing high visibility and impact. The seamless combination of curved and straight glass on the exterior walls creates a powerful space that effectively showcases the displayed cars.

The project, which commenced in October 2022 and was completed in December 2023, has received the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2024. This award recognizes Daihatsu's innovative and practical design that meets professional and industrial requirements, contributing to a better world.
