FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Louis Liu's "Our Place" is a 102.4 square meter apartment designed to accommodate the unique needs of two women and their numerous pets. The open-plan living room, dining room, and kitchen are seamlessly integrated to create a harmonious living space for both people and pets. The design features innovative pet-friendly elements, including hidden storage cabinets and hollowed-out spaces for cats, while maximizing natural light and ventilation.
The TV wall, made of gray stone, creates a visual hierarchy with its vertical lines and hidden storage, while the dining room wall utilizes hidden doors and natural wood veneer to maintain a cohesive aesthetic. The project showcases a blend of building materials, including marble, stainless steel, and wood veneer, to achieve a modern yet pet-friendly environment.
With a focus on open design, natural textures, and modern style, "Our Place" provides a comfortable and visually appealing living space for both the residents and their pets. The project was completed in December 2010 in Taiwan and has been recognized with an Iron A' Design Award in 2023.
