Shi Zhe Lo's Family Time project, a residential apartment design, aims to create an open and comprehensive public area to foster family connections and relationships.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Family Time project by Shi Zhe Lo is a unique residential apartment design that focuses on creating an open and comprehensive public area to facilitate family bonding and interaction. The main spatial focus of this design is the permeable hanging frame made of iron material and the metal boards of Titanium crystal, which balances the visual effects in the space. The combination of the original living room and the restaurant as a comprehensive public area, with gray as the main spatial tone, sets this design apart from others in its category.
The design incorporates humble chandeliers and iron decorations on the end wall, visually included in the permeable hanging frame from different angles. The area of permeable shelves plays an important role in separating the paths in the space, effectively dividing the functions between the living room and the study room. The property spans 205 square meters and was completed in February 2017 in Taichung City, Taiwan.
The ceiling, decorated with black and yellow lines, enhances the vertical height and defines the sub-areas and paths. The study room intentionally adds two entry sides to adjust the room according to different events and the number of users. The gray sofa with no back design acts as an intermediate element between the living room and the restaurant, creating an open and obstacle-free public area to cater to elderly members and children.
Shi Zhe Lo's Family Time project was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2020 for its outstanding and creatively ingenious design that authenticates experience and resourcefulness. The design exhibits strong technical and creative skills, contributing to quality of life improvements.
