Enota's latest project, Termalija Family Wellness, redefines spa architecture with its innovative design and sustainable approach, located in PodÄetrtek, Slovenia, and completed in May 2018.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Enota's Termalija Family Wellness, a part of the Terme Olimia spa complex, represents a culmination of fifteen years of transformative projects. The design seamlessly integrates with the surrounding nature, featuring a cluster of tetrahedral volumes that visually extend into the heart of the complex. The innovative roof structure, characterized by complex geometry, provides static strength without the need for additional supports, creating a unique floating effect above the pool platform.
The design's emphasis on sustainability is evident in the large roof acting as a sunshade, preserving precious exterior space. The project's realization involved a combination of concrete, steel, and laminated wooden panels, showcasing Enota's commitment to innovative fabrication techniques.
The project, spanning 8,780 m2 on a 10,200 m2 site, stands as a testament to Enota's dedication to wellness, natural integration, and architectural innovation.
Enota, founded in 1998, is a collective architectural practice based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The firm's commitment to pushing the boundaries of conventional discipline has earned it the prestigious Golden A' Design Award in 2020 for Termalija Family Wellness.
