Chiun Ju interior design has achieved international recognition by winning the Bronze A' Design Award 2025 in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category for its latest project, "Meet Purple." Located in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, this 1157-square-meter residence is a testament to the studio's ability to blend American-inspired sophistication with subtle British design cues, all while prioritizing comfort, sustainability, and the unique needs of its clients.
The design process was rooted in a deep understanding of the homeowners' desire for a relaxed yet elegant environment, moving away from traditional trims and frames. Through ongoing dialogue and attentive observation, the team crafted a space that balances form and function. The dreamy lavender palette in the dining and study areas, paired with gold and champagne accents, sets a romantic tone, while the foyer's grille and glass elements replace solid walls to create seamless transitions and enhance natural light. Custom ceiling trims and advanced joinery techniques further elevate the architectural refinement of the home.
Functionality and sustainability were at the core of the project's realization. The team utilized eco-friendly latex paint, F1-grade SPC flooring, and innovative glass applications to improve indoor air quality and spatial fluidity. Ergonomic and structural principles guided the reconfiguration of the master suite and the transformation of an underused guest bathroom into a stylish bar area. Overcoming challenges from the client's previous renovation experiences, Chiun Ju interior design built trust through transparent communication and meticulous attention to detail, resulting in a harmonious, inviting home that exceeded expectations and earned enthusiastic recommendations.
This award-winning project not only exemplifies creative ingenuity and technical excellence but also advances sustainable interior design practices, demonstrating how thoughtful design can enhance daily living and contribute to a better quality of life.
