Rams City Sales Office: A Contemporary Tribute to Istanbul's Architectural Legacy with Award-Winning Design

Arkiteam Architecture has achieved international recognition with its Rams City Sales Office, recently awarded Silver in the 2025 A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award. Located in Istanbul's storied old quarter, the 1100-square-meter sales office stands as a testament to the city's architectural heritage, skillfully integrating Turkic-inspired arches and a central dome with sleek concrete and steel elements. The design's most striking feature-a solitary tree at the entrance-serves as a serene symbol of nature, welcoming visitors and connecting the built environment to its surroundings.

The project's facade combines the strength of concrete and steel with the warmth of wood paneling and stone, resulting in a balanced aesthetic that is both timeless and forward-looking. Inside, an open layout ensures smooth visitor flow, with the central dome drawing attention to the project model while maintaining an airy, inviting atmosphere. Functional spaces are discreetly integrated to provide privacy without disrupting the overall openness, reflecting Arkiteam Architecture's commitment to both form and function.

Realized between January and May 2024, the Rams City Sales Office overcame significant design challenges, including the integration of historical motifs within a modern, operational sales environment. The use of lightweight precast concrete and metal framing allowed for the faithful recreation of arches and domes, while a glass facade maximizes natural light. This thoughtful approach not only honors Istanbul's architectural traditions but also introduces a minimalist, contemporary spirit, earning the project admiration for its technical excellence and artistic innovation.
