Ayse Kubilay's Bosphorus House project, completed in May 2024, has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design category. Situated on a hill with sweeping views of the Bosphorus, the residence exemplifies a harmonious blend of Istanbul's rich historical character and modern design sensibilities. Kubilay's vision was to create a home that respects its architectural roots while embracing the comforts and aesthetics of contemporary life.

The renovation involved a complete transformation of a 1990s structure, retaining only the essential column, beam, and carrier systems. The new layout prioritizes open spaces, natural light, and seamless flow between rooms, resulting in an expansive, inviting environment. The three-story home features two distinct living rooms for family and guests, a cinema room, gym, guest suite, and a master bedroom with a private terrace. Both the ground and entry floors open to breathtaking Bosphorus views, with the ground floor connecting to a garden and infinity pool for outdoor living.

Kubilay's approach integrates sustainable materials such as marble, glass, and wood, enhancing transparency and a connection with the outdoors. The design also incorporates energy-efficient smart home technology, reflecting a commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility. Inspired by Istanbul's historical allure and the functionality of a boutique hotel, the Bosphorus House offers luxurious comfort, tranquility, and versatility, making it a standout example of modern residential design. The project has been featured in Maison Francaise magazine and is celebrated for its meticulous attention to detail and timeless appeal.
