Gao Shanxing's Visionary Design for Sunac Snow Park

Gao Shanxing's Sunac Snow Park is one of the largest indoor ski resorts globally, covering 3956813 sq. ft in Sunac Cultural Tourism City of Dujiangyan City. The design integrates regional cultural symbols, featuring the imagery of "The auspicious clouds of Kang Tibetan" and elements of Sichuan opera facial makeup, creating a contemporary regional iconic image.

The design's realization technology involved the use of rhino software to achieve complete and coherent patterns in oversized buildings, ensuring precise layering logic relationships and cost control.

With a focus on locality, cultural symbols, parametric design, and huge building volume, Sunac Snow Park adds a new leisure spot for skiing and recreational water to subtropical Chengdu, becoming a new cultural landmark with its oversized architecture.
