The Hong Kong Trade Development Council presents a cutting-edge welcome installation and trend display at the 2019 Houseware Fair
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) brought forth an exceptional showcase at the 2019 Hong Kong Houseware Fair, featuring innovative installations that captivated visitors. The welcome installation and trend display, inspired by the official houseware industry trend report, offered a glimpse into the future of houseware design.
The welcome installation, standing at 5 meters high and covering 30 square meters, featured a large LED 3mm pitch screen, reusable aluminum structural systems, LED stripe lights, black sticker finish, acrylic panels, digital prints, vinyl graphics, and biodegradable carpet. The entrance treatment for the exhibition hall and the trend display area also utilized similar materials and construction techniques, providing a cohesive visual experience throughout the event.
From the initial briefing to onsite completion, the project took three months to realize, culminating in a stunning display at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai. The event ran for three days, from April 20th to 23rd, 2019, attracting industry professionals and design enthusiasts alike.
The HKTDC's innovative approach to the Houseware Fair earned them the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2020, recognizing their outstanding expertise and innovation in event and happening design. The cutting-edge installations not only elevated the show's image but also provided a physical trend forecast display area, showcasing the council's commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and creativity.
