Wei Ting Lin's Rose Garden project, a detached villa located in Hangzhou, finished in 2022, draws inspiration from the famous Chinese painting Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains, aiming to create a serene and calm environment for the residents, blending Hui Style architecture with Italian lifestyle preferences.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Wei Ting Lin's Rose Garden project is a typical Hui Style architecture, featuring "white walls and black tiles", mezzanines, paifang, lattice windows, and more. The interior design adopts the images of stunning scenery of Jiangnan and the beauty of water towns, creating a serene and calm environment for the residents. The project, finished in 2022 in Hangzhou, seamlessly merges Italian style interiors with the Chinese Hui Style architecture, showcasing the beauty of fusion.
Inspired by the painting Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains, the project features a pool in the courtyard, a curvilinear ceiling, and stairs inspired by ripples, all designed with the fluid, non-stop water flow as the main theme in mind. To cope with the hot-humid climate, designs like atrium and mezzanines are adopted, while large windows and stainless steel statues inspired by different water forms are strategically placed to enhance natural light and create a river-themed ambiance.
To emphasize the exquisite Italian craftsmanship, the project features carefully chosen materials, color schemes, crafts, and furniture. The designer partnered with a company famous for iron crafts to create a majestic staircase with customized balusters presenting a visual effect of water ripples, all the way up to the second floor. The project was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2023, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation.
