Sberbank Workplace Design

Sberbank, the largest bank in Russia and Eastern Europe, has partnered with Evolution Design to introduce agile working principles into their workplace. The project encompasses four floors within Sberbank's new Moscow headquarters, covering a total area of 24,000 square meters. The design aims to transition Sberbank's traditional hierarchical office model to a dynamic, flexible, and collaborative environment.

The office features distinct zones, each with a unique nature-inspired theme, fostering creativity and innovation. The innovative layout includes informal meeting rooms, tailor-made space dividers, and co-working hubs, all revolving around different trees. The design also prioritizes natural light, with home zones positioned along the building's windows to maximize daylight usage.

Evolution Design's approach involved overcoming challenges related to the building's initial design for apartments, requiring extensive floor planning and fire regulation engineering to create an open, conducive workspace. The project, which commenced in January 2017, was completed within a year, culminating in a modern, user-centric architectural identity for Sberbank.
