Camellia: A Romantic Girly Café in Parisian Style

Alvan Suen's design project, Camellia, is a romantic girly café in Parisian style, located at K11 Musea, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The interior design is a blend of loft, modern, and French styles, surrounded by pink flower walls, echoing the black tone with gold trim, mirrors, and arches, reminiscent of a flower festival in Paris, the Floral City. The design was started in April 2019, and the 1st phase of construction was finished in August 2019, with the extension completed in October 2019.

Camellia is a unique and Instagram-worthy spot, with various seating options catering to different groups and personalities. The design team, including Alvan Suen, Jesie Chan, Hazel Ching, Alan Tang, and Echo Chan, overcame challenges to create a practical and functional layout within a few months, creating a new landmark for Instagram in one of the most luxurious malls in Hong Kong.

Alvan Suen, the Managing Director and founder of Nameless Hong Kong Limited, is the copyright holder of this design. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Art in Architectural Studies and has received accolades for his outstanding expertise and innovation in design.
