Lo Fang Ming's "Back to Glory" project transforms a 40-year-old apartment into a harmonious and brilliantly lit mansion

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Back to Glory: Transforming Residential Living

Renowned designer Lo Fang Ming has unveiled the "Back to Glory" project, a groundbreaking transformation of a 40-year-old apartment in Taoyuan, Taiwan. The project, completed in Feb. 2017, redefines residential living through innovative design and technology, addressing common issues such as insufficient lighting, narrow spaces, and humidity caused by the rainy climate.

The project introduces a gigantic skylight spanning two stories, along with multi-axial spatial development, effectively resolving lighting and spatial constraints. The design also creates a magnificent mansion-like appearance for the apartment, establishing an open, penetrating, and bright atmosphere in life. The use of tilted glass and large opening windows enhances natural lighting and ventilation, while the multi-layer penetrating design connects various living spaces, fostering family interaction and privacy.

Lo Fang Ming's design focuses on the harmonious beauty of nature and light, incorporating British neoclassical elements to elevate the elegance and exquisiteness of the space. The project has been recognized with the prestigious Silver A' Design Award in 2018, showcasing outstanding expertise and innovation in interior design.
