Envisioning Beyond Legacy Exhibition

Oval Design Limited presents "Envisioning Beyond Legacy," a multimedia exhibition that encapsulates the remarkable journey of Hong Kong's development over the past 25 years and its future aspirations. The exhibition, held at City Gallery in Hong Kong from 6 July to 30 November 2022, aimed to engage visitors of all ages and backgrounds in an immersive experience that goes beyond the traditional passive viewing.

The exhibition features interactive installations and games, offering visitors the opportunity to explore and engage with the planning and infrastructure achievements of Hong Kong. Through motion tracking sensors and LED technology, visitors were guided through a giant map of Hong Kong, triggering informative pop-ups on an LED wall, providing a deeper understanding of the city's progression.

Envisioning Beyond Legacy also includes a co-creating game that allows visitors to participate in real-time town planning exercises, fostering public consultation and engagement. The exhibition is designed to be inclusive, providing a barrier-free environment for all members of the community to participate and learn about the city's development.

The exhibition, divided into three distinct spaces, showcases the proactive design approach adopted by Oval Design Limited to stimulate visitor exploration and participation. The team's innovative use of technology, including big data analytics and multimedia installations, creates an informative, engaging, and alluring experience for all visitors.
