Li Xiang's FAB Cinema project in Xi'an, China, challenges the conventional movie theater design by integrating the shooting scene of film production into the main hall, creating an immersive and interactive cinema experience. The project aims to impress the audience with a dramatic scene upon entering the theater, offering an innovative approach to movie-watching. By incorporating different entertainment facilities, the cinema encourages audience interaction beyond simply watching the movie, enhancing the overall consumer experience.

The design of the theater deviates from traditional norms, offering audiences dual identities as both spectators in reality and participants in the movie-shooting process.
