Prashant Chauhan's ZERO9 Unveils Vibrant Microcement Design for Private Apartment in Mumbai
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Prashant Chauhan's ZERO9 has transformed a private apartment in Mumbai, defying the standard grey house design trend with a vibrant and artistic space. The project, named "Ungrey," features a unique color blocking design achieved through microcement layering on existing flooring and walls.
The 200 Sq M apartment is a testament to the innovative use of color and form, with the design team led by Creative Director Prashant Chauhan, Lead Architect Anu Chauhan, and Project Architect Smarani Vuppala.
The project, completed in 8 months, presented challenges such as achieving the right colors and ensuring the adhesion of microcement to the existing floor. The space was meticulously marked and coated with various colors, culminating in a polished finish with a protective coating.
Photographer Yadnyesh Joshi captured the essence of "Ungrey," showcasing the vibrant transformation of the private apartment. Prashant Chauhan holds the copyrights to this innovative design, which has been recognized with the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2022.
